Kyle Korver Joins Boozer in Chicago

Because he loved playing with Carlos Boozer so much, Kyle Korver (number 44 on the Big Board) has rejoined his former teammate, signing a 3 year, $15 million deal with the Chicago Bulls. I'm torn here. I strongly dislike Kyle Korver and consider him to be one of the more overvalued players in the league. There's no question that he is a GREAT shooter. My problem is he that he contributes nothing else to your team. He can't defend, rebound, pass, dribble, run, jump, or anything else that a basketball player might need to be able to do. His gift for shooting is almost useless a lot of times because he's not athletic enough to get open, even when he runs off of numerous screens. At the same time, however, the Bulls have a great nucleus to work with and are lacking guys who can shoot. Adding Korver gives them at least one guy on the court that you absolutely can't help off of and that will make everyone else around him better. He's not costing them a whole lot and he's a good fit for the Bulls. I just want my shooters to be able to help even a little in something else than just standing outside the 3-point line, waiting for the ball. For less money Chicago could have picked up Anthony Morrow who is just as deadly and gives you a little something across the board.
