It's certainly not the crazy -big news everyone has been waiting for, but the first free agent from the class of 2010 has signed. Former Maverick Drew Gooden (number 35 on the Free Agent Big Board) has signed a 5 year, $32 million dollar contract with the Milwaukee Bucks. I'm not sure I love this move for the Bucks, mostly because I think the full mid level exception is too much for a player of Gooden's pedigree. Gooden does bring some skill to the table, though, as an excellent rebounder and a fairly dependable low post scoring option. He is also one of the stupidest players in the league with a basketball IQ that would definitely qualify as retarded. Still, I like that the Bucks are making moves and spending money to try and complete a young, up-and-coming roster.
