Ray Allen to Stay in Boston

After a fairly disastrous Finals series agains the Lakers, Ray Allen (number 11 on the Big Board) may have cost himself some leverage and ultimately some money. Still, though, he was able to re-up with the Boston Celtics for a 2 year, $20 million deal. Allen is and always has been one of the best shooters in the league and a guy who fits the Celtics perfectly. Without him, their perimeter attack is questionable. With him, they've got two more years to try to win another title before he and Garnett both hobble off into the sunshine. The Finals series in which he went off in Game 2 and then did almost nothing afterward was an abberation as Allen has usually been extremely consistent in his time with Boston. Here's hoping that Allen and the Celtics can squelch the stink coming out of Miami.
